Clogged Drain Behind Washer and Dryer Repaired in San Diego

We recently addressed a clogged drain issue located behind a washer and dryer at a home in San Diego. The blockage was caused by an outdated and inefficient drainage setup, leading to poor flow and potential backups. Happy Plumbing Inc. provided a comprehensive solution to restore optimal functionality to the laundry and basin sink drains.

We cut into the existing cast iron drains to install a new sanitary tee and a cleanout for improved access and performance. Rebuilt the drainage system with appropriate-sized traps: a tubular P-trap for the basin sink and laundry, and an ABS P-trap with a union for the laundry drain (1 ½” for the basin sink and 2” for the laundry P-trap).

Installed new sanitary tees to serve both the basin sink and laundry, enhancing the overall drainage flow and functionality.
