Double Union and Pressure Regulating Valve Installation in Santee

The homeowner purchased a Moen Flo automatic shut-off valve and needed professional installation to ensure it worked seamlessly with their existing plumbing system. During our inspection, we identified that the current 3/4” pressure regulator also needed to be replaced to optimize performance and maintain safe water pressure levels.

Our experienced technician followed a detailed plan to ensure a flawless installation. We turned off the home’s water supply to prepare for the upgrade safely. We removed the old 3/4” pressure regulator and replaced it with a new one, ensuring compatibility with the Moen Flo shut-off valve. We also upgraded the system with a Double Union and Pressure Regulating Valve that accommodates up to 1″.

The customer’s Moen Flo automatic shut-off valve was installed alongside the new pressure regulator. The water pressure was carefully adjusted to 70 PSI, the safe working level for this home’s plumbing system.
