Epoxy Sewer Liner Installation in Coronado

Happy Plumbing conducted a thorough plumbing restoration at a residential property experiencing severe drainage problems, including pipe failure and root intrusion. The original cast iron and clay mainline was heavily scaled, cracked, and affected by channel rot, with several points of root infiltration. To restore flow and prevent future collapses, we jackhammered and removed concrete and brick to access the mainline, then excavated and installed a two-way cleanout. The existing sewer pipe was hydro-jetted and descaled over 140+ feet, followed by the installation of 42 feet of epoxy inversion liner with three reinstatements for branch lines.
We also installed a sump and catch basin to manage waste ejection from lower elevation fixtures, rerouted the laundry drain to connect upstream of the sump, and ran the sewage ejection line around pool supports before connecting it to a raised cleanout that links with the existing mainline leading to the alley. Electrical conduit was installed on the garage’s exterior wall for future GFI outlet installation (note: client must arrange for a licensed electrician to install GFI).
Important Notes: The sump pit must remain accessible at all times for warranty and maintenance—no permanent cover is allowed. We recommend a removable wooden deck cover. Happy Plumbing Inc. is not responsible for landscaping, electrical work, drywall, or finish restoration after installation.
