Kitchen Sink Drain Repair in Imperial Beach

This kitchen plumbing project took place at a residential home in Imperial Beach, where the homeowner was dealing with a severely clogged kitchen drain and a rusted, deteriorating clean-out. The issue was traced to a 15-foot section of 2-inch cast-iron pipe that had accumulated years of heavy scale buildup, restricting water flow and making maintenance nearly impossible. Happy Plumbing addressed the problem by thoroughly descaling and hydro-jetting the old line, then installing a durable epoxy liner to restore the interior of the pipe without the need for full excavation. Once the liner was cured, we installed a new 2-inch PVC clean-out and connected it to the existing P-trap inside the wall. To access the connection point, minimal stucco was carefully cut around the old clean-out. The result was a fully restored drain line with improved flow, a modern access point, and long-lasting performance.
