Moen Flo Automatic Shut-Off Valve Installation and Pressure Regulator Upgrade in San Diego

A homeowner contacted Happy Plumbing to request an estimate for installing an automatic water shut-off valve, aiming to prevent future water damage and monitor water usage. After reviewing their system, we installed a customer-supplied ¾” Moen Flo smart valve. We repositioned plumbing components to ensure a clean and functional layout. This included replacing the pressure regulating valve (PRV) and double union up to 1″, as well as installing a new ¾” ball valve for optimal system alignment. As a courtesy, we also replaced a leaking ¾” MIP hose bib—usually a $435 service—at no extra charge. The homeowner now benefits from modern water control technology and upgraded plumbing hardware, all professionally installed.
