Water Shut-Off Valve Replacement in La Jolla

The pipe supplying the water shut-off valve was broken, causing leaks and risking water damage. The faulty 2-inch gate valve within the meter box needed immediate attention to prevent further issues.

Since the repair required shutting off water from the city’s side, we arranged for city personnel to turn off the water before starting the work. Removed the leaking 2-inch gate valve. Supplied and installed a new Jones valve within the meter box without disturbing the concrete box.

Cut into the existing 2-inch copper pipe. Reattached it securely using a coupling to ensure a reliable connection.

By carefully coordinating with the city and utilizing precise repair techniques, we provided a seamless solution to restore the water supply without disrupting the property’s infrastructure.
